About Me


David Giliberti is an Italian model-actor born on October 21 in Salerno (Italy).

In his hometown he experienced the beginning of his theatrical life at “Il Piccolo Teatro del Giullare di Salerno"with his first workshops.

At 18 years old, he moved to Naples where he attended the University Federico II, earning a degree inIndustrila Engineering of Logistics and Production. 

He met the Italian designer Rocco Barocco with whom he will have a long collaboration.

In the same period he worked as host for the variety show "Night & Day television"  on SKY TV Italia.


In 2001, he was the winner at the National competition "Elite Model Look Italy" thanks that he joined the prestigious platform of the fashion business with international agencies  Icemodel, Urban, Independent, Major. 

He worked for Roberto Cavalli, John Richmond, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gianfranco Ferre, Paul Smith, Canali and many other prestigious names in the Italian fashion industry, interpreting print campaigns for eco nationally and internationally as one devoted to fragrance "Laki" Romeo Gigli, a number of collaborations for television commercial campaigns "Yellow Pages" 2009, "We Wind" 2009 and a few small roles in films

("Un Posto Al Sole " 2006/2007 , "Amori e Passioni" 2008).


In 2008 he has travelled to Turkey to work on a report about motors and free time ("Subaru for Fun" written by Francesco Domenico) broadcasted on "LA 7"Italy.


 In 2009, he had a testimonial for the short film "Innamorati di me" presented at the Venice Film Festival for the director Richard Zanonini that shortly afterwards became an advertising campaign for press and television representative for the Republic of San Marino receiving an award  as"the best photgraphy"of the year.

 In 2009, he also had the first significant theatrical comedy in two acts by Max Aub "L'impareggiabile malfidato"with Compagnina Stabile di Corsico (Milan) directed by Fabio Cercone and Claudio Orlandini .

During the first half of the year 2010 he joined the school of acting "Foro Shakespeare" in Mexico City.

He performed a role in "Cuando calienta el Sol" under the direction of Mariano Hernandez

 He has appeared also in the movie "Che Guerrilla" directed by Steven Soderbergh where Matt Damon played for a brief cameo in the role of a priest. 


While as a model at the Mercedes Fashion Week wearing the Levi's collection designed and premiered by Jean Paul Gaultier, he will then be a protagonist in several editorials and commercial campaigns for both Italian and local stylists (Zegna, Ferre, Arabella, Ferdy ....). This is the time when he even started to open the horizons on the United States, thanks to some jobs and  shooting tests which he has gotten in Miami and in New York. Coming back to Italy, he will already be on the set  of the film by Roberto Lippolis "The Borderline" to play the role of "Angelo".


The second half ofyear 2010 sees the artist instead committed to the highest levels of the Bombay Bollywood. In six months of contract, David Giliberti is ranked as one of India's highest paid models, making his appearance among the most prestigious journals in the world of international fashion market as GQ, Vogue, Elle, Men's Health, with numerous editorials and campaigns for Italian designers like Dolce and Gabbana, Armani, Paul Smith, Desquared, Ermenegildo Zegna. His caucasian look will allow him to be one of the first non-Indian models to take part in the official presentations of the Lakme Fashion Week wearing a suit by the famous Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra. 


David seems to have conquered the hearts of these people on all effects. His  humble and at the same time tough soul; his versatility and sensitivity has brought him here to look out on the world of acting as he started attending the famous school of John Barry in Bollywood that combines the concept of visual representation to that of physical communication. David  trains with circus and street  performers while collecting important works as a television commercial campaign for Levi's. 


The year of 2012 is again Italian. David Giliberti attended the academy Beatrice Bracco, working with Lina Bernardi on the interpretation of the text and "acting-taken by camera " and with Antonio Fazio for the workshops on the diction. 


His debut on stage in Rome with "Sei personaggi in cerca di casting" edited by Susan Giordano, directed by Luigi Ortiero.

He portrayed the role of Steve in "Anna e i suoi miracoli"  together with the French actress Agnes Spaak for the press conferences of the book edited by the Sicilian writer Cynthia Alibrandi in the tour of  presentation that exposed him in the major cities of Italy together with the  writer Alibrandi.

With his friend, actor Antonio Fazio, he has been on stage for the show "Verso i sentirei della bellezza", a series of lectures on the theme of beauty and directed by Antonio Fazio, who has been and still is around the most prestigious literary Roman salons.

Paolo Pettinato, director of the film "Knowledge", choosed the actor Giliberti as  protagonist in the role of Adam retracing the biblical story of the first man created on the image and likeness of God.


In Indonesia he worked for the tvshows "Take me out" and "Bule Ngefans."

It has been an actor in an episode for the TVcomedy "OVJ" (Opera Van Java)and It has been testmonial for the cover of magazne"Maxx-Brides".


After the positive experience in Malaysia has emerged as a winner in Korea where he has shot for the cover of Italian magazine "Gentlman".


In Shanghai during 2014/15 he shot for prestigious brand as  Jeep and Samsonite.

He is the main hero of the chinese videogame "WeMoba", Kevin.


He moved in Los Angeles during 2016 .

After a collaboration with the director of the photography  Dawn Laurel Jones  wife of the famous actor and director Tommy Lee Jones he has been actor

in the movies "The Remake" ( L. A.Delaney) and "Fake"( J. Manfren).

He is one of the characters in the episodes "Screamkings" directed by Alex Pucci.

The painter Fabian Perez has chosen him several times as character of his portraits and sculptures.

He played  in the "Hollywood Modulus"(P.Howley, M. Bonitatis) show and he will be one of the leading roles in "Snap, Honey"(M.Atkins) in Hollywood.
